Share your climate change source link here. One link per post, please.

Climate change may be one of the most difficult debates Liberty lovers face today, mainly because the government encourages studies that find man-made causes of climate change. The result, as you would expect, is an abundance of questionable studies linking human action to changing weather patterns.

One of the biggest red flags to the science of man made climate change is the force that’s often encouraged against those who disagree with it. The truth does not need threats of violence. We should remember what was written by author George R. R. Martin, who said “When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar. You’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.”

Also helpful is to understand the motives behind the push to prove a causal link between human action and climate change. There are literally billions of dollars up for grabs from government handout for “green energy” projects. Building a company to take advantage of those handouts has proven to be profitable, even if not beneficial to the environment. It turns out, some of the technologies designed to reduce carbon require so much carbon to build that there is little to no net gain over the life of the unit.

More to come on this subject soon.

How Much CO2 Gets Emitted to Build a Wind Turbine?
How Much CO2 Gets Emitted to Build a Wind Turbine?

“So what’s the carbon foot print of a wind turbine with 45 tons of rebar & 481m3 of concrete? Its carbon footprint is massive – try 241.85 tons of CO2.”

Windswept Denmark Says Wind Energy Has Become Too Expensive

Windswept Denmark Says Wind Energy Has Become Too Expensive

“Danes have paid billions in taxes and fees to support wind turbines, which has caused electricity prices to skyrocket even as the price of actual electricity has decreased. Now, green taxes make up 66 percent of Danish electricity bills. Only 15 percent of electricity bills went to energy generation.

Electricity prices have gotten so high, the government has decided to slash green taxes on consumer energy bills.”

Study – Re-assessment of net energy production and greenhouse gas emissions avoidance after 40 years of photovoltaics development
    by Atse Louwen

    https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms13728

This study was designed to show a net positive impact on carbon emissions from solar panels, but instead showed that solar panels have a bigger net impact on increasing “global warming” than emissions-releasing, fossil fuel-utilizing energy production sources. While the charts show a decline in the creation of greenhouse gasses to produce solar panels, they inadvertently show that the ramp up in government funding in alternative energy has little effect on improvements in production.

New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism
    by James Taylor

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamestaylor/2011/07/27/new-nasa-data-blow-gaping-hold-in-global-warming-alarmism/#34aa48ad5f23

“Scientists on all sides of the global warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide (the answer is “not much”). However, the single most important issue in the global warming debate is whether carbon dioxide emissions will indirectly trap far more heat by causing large increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds. Alarmist computer models assume human carbon dioxide emissions indirectly cause substantial increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds (each of which are very effective at trapping heat), but real-world data have long shown that carbon dioxide emissions are not causing as much atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds as the alarmist computer models have predicted.”
